In 2000, Snapple partnered with the Starlight Children’s Foundation for its summer “Twisted Cap Tricks” under-the-cap promotion and cross-country tour. The tour stopped in 33 cities between the Golden Gate and Brooklyn Bridges to raise $100,000 to fund Starlight’s work to support seriously ill children and their families.
The tour featured Wendy “The Snapple Lady” and her sidekick Jasen Magic, who brought dance contests, magic shows, and Snapple cap creations to each pitstop.
The under-the-cap “Twisted Cap Tricks” contest gave away 8 million prizes and 101 silly ideas for how to repurpose your Snapple caps.
If you have any of these caps and are interested in selling or trading for them, please contact me at: chris@snapplecaps.com
