America’s Got Talent (2012)

In 2012, Snapple became the first ever exclusive beverage partner of the “America’s Got Talent” reality talent competition, which was entering its seventh season. “America’s Got Talent” is a summer series that features an array of hopeful stars, including singers, dancers, comedians, contortionists, impressionists, jugglers, magicians and ventriloquists, all of whom compete for a $1 million prize.  The promotion included season-long on-air integrations, an extensive digital and social media campaign, and a fully branded off-channel marketing effort.

As part of it’s “Find a Star” promotion, Snapple gave fans a chance to win a VIP trip to New York to see the show’s Season Seven finale and other prizes. “Simply sip a Snapple, find a star and you could be on your way to the finale” said Dave Fleming, Director of Marketing for Snapple. Fans looked for a star under the reds caps of the specially-marked “America’s Got Talent” Snapple products and entered the code on the Snapple website for the chance to win one of five trips to the season finale or other exciting prizes, like a free six-pack of Snapple. In addition, Snapple printed 12 “America’s Got Talent”-themed Real Facts on these bottles.

The “Find a Star” caps were only featured on the  Diet Half ‘n Half, Peach Tea, Diet Peach Tea, Lemon Tea and Diet Lemon Tea.
