The third set of Snapple Real Facts, which ranges from Real Fact #191 to #229 and were allegedly printed in 2003, represents one of the more mysterious sets of Snapple caps. For many years, I referred to this set as “The Elusives” in my own record keeping.

While a list of these facts was published on the Snapple website in 2003, very few appeared to have been printed on Snapple caps. Among the >75,000 caps in my collection, only Real Fact #202 has been found on the blue, white, and green Snapple Caps of the early Real Fact promotions. It wasn’t until the Best Stuff on Earth promotion, which reprinted old facts on silver caps from 2015-2020, that these caps really began to appear in circulation. Of the few caps in my collection in this range, several appear on a gold Snapple cap of unknown origin (believed to have been printed in 2004 o4 2008; product type unknown).
